Corporate Counsel (Autodesk Consulting) Autodesk invites you to apply for the Corporate Counsel (Autodesk Consulting) role. This position focuses on providing hands‑on legal advice across a wide range of strategic initiatives, partnering with global teams to drive change responsibly and ethically.

About the Role This is an opportunity for a commercial attorney with leadership skills to partner with Autodesk Consulting, a global professional services team. The role will be a Legal Business Partner for a dispersed global team, dealing with multiple stakeholders, reconciling competing needs and managing through complexity to drive change for Autodesk customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

Credible and confident, with strong leadership abilities.

Strong drafting and negotiation skills across commercial, IP, technology and professional services engagements.

Customer‑centric mindset partnering with Sales, Product Support or Professional Services teams in a multinational software company.

Creative problem solver with a proven track record in commercial law, intellectual property, data security, privacy, AI, competition law and compliance.

Skilled at framing complex legal issues for management in written and verbal communication.

Familiar with data power, balancing business benefits against legal risks.

Collaborative, able to work in a highly matrixed environment, engaging subject‑matter experts and driving decisions and outcomes.

Excited about global projects with teams from all parts of CSO worldwide.

Authentic, bringing whole self to Autodesk and building positive, respectful relationships throughout the organization.

Curious about technology, energized by its potential to transform the world.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of in‑house experience at a professional services, consulting, technology company with global reach or related law firm experience.

Exceptional judgment and creativity, with strategic thinking and practical advice weighing legal and business objectives.

Law Degree from a recognized university with good academic credentials.

Strong organizational skills, flexible and self‑directed in a fast‑paced environment with limited direction.

Customer‑centric mindset with concise drafting and communication about complex issues.

Experience in privacy, AI and data security issues and compliance (CIPP certification a plus).

Sound legal and business judgment and strong analytical skills.

Ability to handle change and ambiguity.

Prepared to travel as needed (5–8x/year).

Hybrid Location This role must be hybrid to one of Autodesk’s office locations posted.

Salary Transparency Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $147,500 and $238,590. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, the compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants and a comprehensive benefits package.
