Financial Consultant, Truist Investment Services, Baltimore, MD – Truist Job Summary

Provide consultative, sales and technical support to one or more Financial Advisors, working closely with the Financial Advisors to meet the needs of current clients and actively source prospective clients. Lead the Financial Advisor team, contributing to short and long‑term strategic planning and overall execution of the team’s value proposition to clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in establishing the strategic direction of the Financial Advisor team to increase revenue. Consult clients and prospective clients with a focus on analyzing goals, objectives and risk tolerance to determine which investment products and services best meet client needs and implement those products and services as appropriate. Assist clients with trades, requests for information, research, account problems, etc. Provide client relationship management support, including ongoing counsel and advice, relationship reviews and client service initiatives. Participate in preparation for and delivery of client presentations and engagements. Assist the Advisor in developing and maintaining a profitable level of securities and insurance sales by executing on opportunities identified through external networking and internal referrals. Adhere to professional and ethical standards set forth by Truist, FINRA and other regulatory bodies. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Banking, or equivalent education and related experience. 4 years professional experience, including 1 year in the securities industry. FINRA Series 7 and 66. Applicable state health and life insurance licenses, jurisdictional registrations must match that of the advisor(s) supported. Organized and self‑motivated individual with strong analytical, problem‑solving, interpersonal, persuasion and relationship management skills. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products. Preferred Qualifications

Willingness to pursue additional credentials in the wealth and investment fields. Compensation

Annual base salary: $75,000. Starting hourly wage: $35.88. Benefits

All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits. Teammates also receive no less than 10 days of vacation (prorated based on date of hire and full‑time or part‑time status) during their first year of employment, along with 10 sick days (also prorated).
