The Opportunity Sephora is looking for a data-loving analyst who will contribute to Sephora’s social media prowess. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting social data into actionable insights by crafting reports to support the company’s strategic, brand, cultural initiatives, and more. Additionally, you will partner with your manager on managing the social budget and forecast. The right person for this role is someone passionate about the cultural zeitgeist and comfortable analyzing large sets of social data to tell a cohesive story – and can translate that passion into digestible yet inspiring data and budget presentations.
Responsibilities
Analyze data from various social media and reporting platforms to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, track engagement metrics, and understand audience behavior.
Create comprehensive weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports on social media performance, highlighting key insights, trends, and areas for improvement and present findings to stakeholders.
Support your manager in managing the social media budget, including allocating funds for content creation and influencer partnerships, while ensuring spending aligns with overall marketing goals.
Develop forecasts based on past performance data to inform future budget allocations and campaign strategies.
Partner with other social team members to recommend adjustments to campaigns and content plans based on analytics insights, ensuring that resources are used effectively.
Utilize analytics tools and software to track social media metrics and performance, staying current with best practices and emerging technologies.
Provide guidance and training to team members on how to interpret analytics and use data to drive social media decisions.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in social media analytics – budget management experience is a bonus!
A strong understanding of social media reporting best practices.
Excellent research and writing skills—and the ability to make numbers fun.
A passion for social media.
A genuine love of Excel – for real.
The annual base salary range for this position is $86,955.00 - $97,185.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
