The work
Consult with internal and external teams to modernize finance functions, setting vision, strategy, goals, and key outcomes.
Provide CFOs and teams with data and insights to build a compelling change narrative that drives shareholder value.
Understand client challenges and apply industry leading practices to solve complex business problems.
Serve as a subject‑matter advisor on related Accenture projects and proposals.
Manage engagement risk, project economics, deliverable quality, and client buy‑in.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and encourage innovation from team members.
Create strategies and blueprints using advanced operating models, processes, and emerging technologies to improve operations.
Oversee digital transformations that increase efficiency, effectiveness, experience, and growth through data, automation, analytics, and enabling technology.
Identify and implement modern technology and data solutions across finance disciplines.
Support practice growth by driving business development activities and responding to proposals.
Stay current on trends, technologies, and regulations influencing digital finance and the CFO ecosystem.
Lead and assemble teams to secure incremental sales.
What you need
Minimum 8 years finance or accounting experience with management consulting.
Demonstrated engagement management and business, practice, and people development.
Intellectual curiosity about client industries and ability to translate insights into finance solutions.
Understanding of emerging technologies and their impact on finance employees and stakeholders.
Experience designing finance, accounting, planning, forecasting, reporting, data, and analytics operating models.
Solid grasp of finance operating models, supporting structures, process best practices, and interdependencies.
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate business value to C‑suite clients.
Leadership in solutioning and problem‑solving workshops.
Ability to interface effectively with senior executives.
Preferred industry experience: Banking, Insurance, Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy, Health, High‑Tech, Utilities.
Bachelor’s degree.

Finance transformation experience across multiple finance functions.
Proficiency with finance technology and data solutions (accounting, tax, treasury, planning, reporting, analytics).
Familiarity with GenAI and ability to explain its use to CFOs.
Experience with ERP/EPM platforms: SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, OneStream.
Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent).

California: $132,500 – $302,400
Cleveland: $122,700 – $241,900
Colorado: $132,500 – $261,300
District of Columbia: $141,100 – $278,200
Illinois: $122,700 – $261,300

Massachusetts: $132,500 – $278,200
