Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with the development and opening of a new optometry program, including identifying equipment, tools, and supplies
Conduct comprehensive eye exams and assess patient vision
Detect and treat eye infections, diseases, and abnormalities
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids
Provide expert advice on proper eye care practices and develop recommended treatment plans
Additional Information
Proven experience in Optometry services required
Experience opening a program from the ground up is highly desirable
IHS/tribal health experience is a significant plus
Required board certification: Optometry
