About The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workday Financials Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Finance‑based business support department, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and maintaining our Workday Financials system to support our financial operations and strategic objectives. Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Finance, IT, and other stakeholders, to gather business requirements and translate them into Workday Financials solutions. Configure, maintain, and enhance the Workday Financials system to meet evolving business needs and regulatory requirements. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Financials, providing guidance and support to end‑users and troubleshooting system issues. Develop and execute test plans, conduct system testing, and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system reliability and accuracy. Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, evaluating their impact on existing configurations and processes. Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including process flows, user guides, and training materials. Collaborate with vendors and consultants as needed to implement new modules or functionality. Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, recommending and implementing system enhancements and best practices. Stay current with industry trends, Workday updates, and financial system advancements to provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Workday Financials Business Systems Analyst or similar role. Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices. In‑depth knowledge of Workday Financials configuration and functionality. Experience with system implementation, configuration, and maintenance. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Workday Financials certification (preferred). Benefits
