Planned Parenthood Mar Monte seeks a qualified
Travel Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
(NP/PA/WHNP/CNM) to provide comprehensive reproductive health care across Stockton and nearby regions.
Overview As a Float Clinician I, you will travel to affiliate health centers (Modesto, Manteca, Tracy, Stockton) and deliver contraceptive care, abortion services, STI testing, gender‑affirming services, and preventive care under a collaborative team. You will receive a base hourly wage of $75/hour plus an additional $3‑12 hourly travel allowance.
Salary & Benefits
Float Clinician I hourly wage: $75/hr + travel allowance
Standard health center hours with generous PTO accrual
No after‑hours charting

Hourly wage increases to Float Clinician II after successful 6‑month review
What You’ll Do
Review and interpret medical and social histories of reproductive health patients.
Perform appropriate medical screenings and exams.
Interpret laboratory data, order additional labs, and ensure follow‑up.
Provide contraceptive methods, including self‑administered options and injections.
Perform medical assessment and management of basic STI and genito‑urinary conditions.
Provide medication abortion, as indicated.
Prescribe and educate on emergency contraception.
Diagnose and treat uncomplicated STIs and genitourinary conditions.
Perform wart treatment and basic dermatological procedures.
Provide gender‑affirming hormone therapy and related care.
Offer premenopausal and menopausal health services.
Act as a medical consultant to clinic staff.
Manage emergency situations in the health center.
Participate in staff meetings, provide training on current medical procedures.
Contribute to achieving health center productivity goals.
Demonstrate PPMM customer service standards.
Assist in other areas of center support work as required.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited NP, PA, WHNP, or CNM program.
Current, unrestricted California license.
Board certification (required).
CPR/BLS certification (current or within 30 days of hire).
Strong customer service mindset and team‑based orientation.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in reproductive health, OB/GYN, gender‑affirming care, or family planning.
Commitment to inclusive and affirming patient care.
