Responsibilities
Own the CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies across low‑, mid‑, and high‑side environments.
Build and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code solutions (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) to support consistent configuration and provisioning.
Collaborate with AI/ML, data, and application engineers to containerize services (Docker) and deploy them using orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECS.
Manage secure networking, certificate handling, reverse proxies (e.g., NGINX), and system‑level hardening in isolated environments.
Support mission‑critical deployments into secure or classified cloud platforms (e.g., AWS SC2S, Azure Government Cloud), working closely with compliance and security personnel.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across development, staging, and production environments.
Build and manage observability pipelines (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and log aggregation tools.
Support vulnerability scanning, patch management, and operational OPSEC where applicable.
Write deployment documentation and system runbooks; contribute to automation of repeatable operational tasks.
What We Value
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or a relevant field.
5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering.
Experience deploying services into secure or high‑side networks such as C2S, AC2SP, or similar.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and infrastructure‑as‑code frameworks.
Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
Familiarity with managing deployments in AWS, Azure, or GCP, especially hardened environments.
Knowledge of Linux system administration, scripting (Bash, Python), and system monitoring best practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially across multi‑disciplinary technical teams.
Industry experience, preferably within the defense industry and/or intelligence community or related sectors, a plus.
Awareness of ethical considerations and responsible AI practices.
Strong drive for improving software quality, security, and performance.
Familiarity with data pipelines, MLOps, and/or integration with LLM‑based systems (not required, nice to have).
Experience with STIG hardening, SCAP scans, or enclave‑specific deployment constraints (not required, nice to have).
Security Clearance We are hiring for multiple positions for each role. Some roles require a Secret, Top Secret, or Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance on Day 1.
