To design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot network architectures and services under the CCI domain. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of the network while aligning with business needs. Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN, SD‑WAN, etc.) under the CCI scope. Monitor network performance, traffic, bandwidth usage, latency, packet loss, etc., and address degradations proactively. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues including routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, NOC escalations, etc. Perform network capacity planning, scaling, and optimization. Implement redundancy, failover, and high-availability architectures to minimize downtime. Enforce network security policies: access control, segmentation, firewall rules, intrusion detection, etc. Work with vendors / carriers / third parties for provisioning, interconnects, SLAs, and escalations. Maintain network documentation: topology diagrams, configurations, change logs, SOPs. Coordinate network upgrades, migrations, patches, and change management processes. Prior experience with carrier interconnects, peering, transit, etc. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Network uptime / availability (%) Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) for network incidents Number of recurring network faults Throughput / capacity utilization SLA compliance with internal / external customers Successful execution of planned network changes/upgrades Working Conditions
24×7 support with shift rotations, on‑call duty as required Occasional travel to data centers, remote sites, or client locations
