Jr. Visual Designer (UI + Brand)

for a fast-growing non-profit start‑up in Atlanta. This is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA.

Compensation ranges from

$60,000–$70,000. As the

Jr. Visual Designer (UI + Brand),

you’ll collaborate with the Head of Product and UX team to create and evolve the company’s investor platform and user experience. You’ll balance design craft with usability—transforming boring content into approachable, engaging interfaces that align with the company’s mission. If you’re passionate about purpose‑driven design and eager to grow in a hands‑on, startup environment, this is the role for you. Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Head of Product, UX Designer, and cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Growth, Engineering) to design and evolve digital experiences for investors and renters. Create visually engaging, on‑brand interfaces that make financial products feel intuitive, accessible, and inspiring. Translate user needs and business goals into thoughtful, user‑centered designs. Balance creativity with clarity and compliance in regulated financial communications. Work directly with the CEO, who is highly engaged in creative direction and values fresh, thoughtful design ideas. Contribute to the ongoing development of the company’s design system and brand identity. Present and articulate design decisions, gathering feedback to refine and improve creative output. Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and UX planning discussions. Qualifications

0–3 years of experience in visual or UX design. Local to Atlanta (required)

— hybrid schedule of 3–4 days per week in office. Strong visual design skills with foundational UX understanding. Visual storytelling and brand adaptability. UX reasoning and user flow awareness. A sense of fun, playfulness, and creativity—avoiding overly minimalist or technical styles. Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Degree or background from a

design‑focused or art school

preferred. Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working directly with leadership in a dynamic startup environment.
