ServiceNow Architect
Our client is seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade ServiceNow solutions across a range of business areas. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technical leader who excels at driving innovation, ensuring platform scalability, and guiding complex ServiceNow implementations from concept to execution.
This is a remote role, candidates must be located in Arizona.
ServiceNow Architect Responsibilities:
Lead the architectural design and implementation of scalable ServiceNow solutions, with emphasis on ITSM, CSM, and SPM modules.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solution roadmaps and align platform capabilities with business objectives.
Oversee customization and configuration efforts, ensuring adherence to platform best practices and long‑term maintainability.
Design and implement secure, reliable integrations with third‑party systems using REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, and MID Servers.
Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring consistent standards in scripting, development, and documentation.
Optimize ServiceNow environments for performance, user experience, and cost‑efficiency.
Develop governance frameworks to maintain system integrity, security, and compliance.
Serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams and clients, offering guidance on platform features, process automation, and innovation opportunities.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and support materials.
Lead platform upgrade efforts, ensuring smooth transitions to new releases and maximizing use of new features.
ServiceNow Architect Qualifications:
Minimum of 9 years of experience in ServiceNow architecture and development, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
Strong expertise in designing and configuring ServiceNow modules, particularly ITSM, CSM, and SPM.
Deep understanding of the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) and platform alignment best practices.
Extensive experience with ServiceNow integrations across various enterprise platforms (e.g., Active Directory, SAP, AWS, Azure, Salesforce).
Knowledge of platform optimization strategies, including CMDB structuring, update set management, and deployment best practices.
Familiarity with advanced ServiceNow capabilities such as Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and automation tools.
Experience leading agile projects and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Certifications (Minimum One Required)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
Preferred Experience:
Prior work with additional ServiceNow modules like ITAM, ITOM, Discovery, Orchestration, and Event Management.
Understanding cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and their integration points with ServiceNow.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation for the ServiceNow platform.
Familiarity with ITIL principles and their application within ServiceNow (Incident, Change, Problem, and Configuration Management).
