Senior Analyst Everyday Pricing Insights Activation- Baby
to drive pricing strategy and promotion effectiveness for the Baby & Essentials & Beauty categories. The pay range is $71,000 - $128,000 and Target offers comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
Own pricing decisions and investment opportunities for assigned categories.
Regularly assess and respond to competitive, financial and guest data to maintain strong everyday price position.
Collaborate with buyers, planners, promo teams and core merchandising partners.
Deliver pricing insights to Pricing Strategy, Global Pricing Operations, Data Sciences and Product teams.
Maintain a Pricing Playbook and lead weekly competitive promo and pricing routines for key items.
Influence pricing outcomes by building trusted relationships and providing data‑driven recommendations.
Develop action plans to improve KPI metrics via short‑term countermeasures and long‑term solutions.
Analyze and balance price competitiveness vs gross margin and create compelling business cases.
Qualifications
4‑year degree or equivalent work experience.
2‑5 years of professional work experience.
Strong data analysis, Excel skills and financial acumen.
Demonstrated peer leadership and decision‑making skills.
Ability to influence others through data and insights.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maximize relationships.
Strategic orientation and comfort with ambiguity.
Self‑starter, ability to work independently.
Desired Qualifications
Experience on a merchandising team or understanding of Merchandising Product Lifecycle.
Microeconomic and Pricing concepts in theory and application.
