Senior Accountant – Onsite NW Atlanta
Location:
Atlanta, GA (NW Atlanta, near Truist Park)
Pay range:
$85,000 – $90,000 per year (negotiable; bonus potential 5% of Salary)

M–F, 8 AM–5 PM (40–45 h/week)

Employer:
Construction developer with two divisions; 3‑person accounting team; report to Controller.
Responsibilities:
Assist with full‑cycle accounting for combined and non‑combined entities.
Support month‑end closing and complete monthly journal entries.
Review financial statements and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
Prepare profitability reporting and respond to questions from leadership.
Manage daily cash balances and ensure proper funding for payments.
Transfer funds between accounts and set up ACH/wires as needed.
Assist with preparation of lender reporting and compliance requirements.
Prepare monthly land development draws to submit to equity partners and lenders.
Support annual financial audit and prepare PBCs for audit team.
Prepare and file property tax returns and business license renewals.
Work with Staff Accountant and Senior AP Specialist to complete 1099.
Support Accounting Staff with additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
5+ years of accounting experience.
Experienced leading month‑end closing.
Well‑versed with Excel, including VLOOKUPS.
Able and willing to work onsite each day.
