Senior Accountant – Great Work/Life Balance! Location: Atlanta, GA

(NW Atlanta, near Truist Park) Base Salary: $85,000-$90,000

(negotiable)

+ Bonus Potential

(5% of Salary) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k w/ match, Parental Leave, Paid Holidays, PTO Job Type: Full-Time Typical Hours: M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM

(40-45 hours/week) Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available Senior Accountant (full-cycle accounting exp. req.) Description Our client, a construction developer, is looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Accountant to join their team in Atlanta. Reporting to their Controller, you will support month-end closing for their two divisions including accounts payable, journal entries, cash management, and financial reporting. Their accounting team (3) is nimble and always looking for opportunities to support one another. That is why they are searching for candidates who would enjoy an entrepreneurial environment where you will be exposed to more areas of the business and are passionate about doing what it takes to get the job done. Assist with full-cycle accounting for combined and non-combined entities Support month-end closing and complete monthly journal entries Review financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare profitability reporting and respond to questions from leadership team Manage daily cash balances and ensure proper funding for payments Transfer funds between accounts and set up ACH/wires as needed Assist with the preparation of lender reporting and compliance requirements Prepare monthly land development draws to submit to equity partners and lenders Support annual financial audit and prepare PBCs for the audit team Prepare and file property tax returns and business license renewals Work with Staff Accountant and Senior AP Specialist to complete 1099 Support Accounting Staff with additional responsibilities as needed Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of accounting

experience required Experienced leading

month-end closing

required Well-versed with Excel including

VLOOKUPS

required Able and willing to work onsite each day required
