Key Responsibilities
Research, document, and implement accounting treatment for complex transactions under US GAAP
Draft technical accounting memos and provide guidance to finance and operations teams
Monitor and assess the impact of new and emerging accounting standards (FASB, SEC)
Support preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10‑Q, 10‑K, and earnings releases
Assist in M&A due diligence, purchase accounting, and integration of acquisitions
Maintain and enhance internal controls and ensure SOX 404 compliance
Partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal on accounting and reporting issues
Support quarterly reviews and annual audits, serving as a key contact for external auditors
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in reporting processes, systems, and controls
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting required
CPA required
5–7 years of progressive accounting experience (Big 4 or public accounting/public company mix preferred)
Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and internal controls
Proven ability to draft and present clear, well‑supported technical accounting positions
Experience with SOX 404 compliance and implementation of new standards
Familiarity with Workiva, JD Edwards, or OneStream a plus
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
