Sales Manager - Core Histology Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, invites applications for the Sales Manager – Core Histology position. The role is remote and reports to the Vice President – Commercial North America. The candidate will develop and execute a sales strategy, lead a team of sales representatives, and drive revenue growth across the region.

Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed the region’s quarterly and annual sales quota, strategic and unit sales mix objectives, profit goal, and market share goals.

Provide direction, leadership, coaching, and mentoring for direct sales representatives; advance professional development and sales effectiveness.

Recruit, develop, and train sales representatives and specialists with clearly communicated sales and overall performance standards.

Forecast monthly revenue projections using the company CRM (Salesforce.com); drive funnel management in CRM.

Develop, solidify, and maintain high‑level relationships within key accounts (Top 10 NA), including senior hospital management, laboratory administration, pathology departments, purchasing, and contracts administration.

Achieve and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction through sales and support assistance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

5+ years relevant sales experience.

Prior management experience.

Prior capital sales experience.

Contract negotiation/high‑level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment.

Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM.

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

Ability to travel – 50-75%.

Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings.

Preferred Experience

Degree in Life Sciences or Master’s Degree in Business/MBA.

Diagnostics, Life Science and/or Pathology experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits Annual salary range: $130,000 - $150,000. This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees.
