Overview
Sales Specialist – Histology Instruments for Leica Biosystems. This remote role supports the Sales team in developing and executing sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion within the territory. You will collaborate with Sales, Service and Applications teams to meet Leica Biosystems performance targets while delivering on customer expectations. Leica Biosystems is part of Danaher’s family of operating companies, with a mission to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be part of the Commercial Organization and report to the Sales Manager - Core Histology. Achieve annual product sales goals for the territory in coordination with the local assigned team; maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed. Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through sales and support, coordinating product demos, installations, and customer training with support from manager or mentor. Engage with prospective and current customers to expand Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories. Monitor competitive activities and strategies; utilize Strategic Selling tools (Blue sheets) with mentorship and guidance. Develop on products, DBS, LBS Tools (such as DOMO, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews). Essential Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent work experience Minimum 3+ years of relevant sales experience (or equivalent) Strong time management skills Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, including selling in a matrixed environment Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Travel and Driving
Ability to travel 50-75%; overnight travel for territory coverage and/or company meetings Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Desired
Prior capital sales experience Remote Work, Salary and Benefits
