Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology & Imaging Sciences, Emergency, REMOTE Indiana University School of Medicine

Overview Join the Radiology & Imaging Sciences department as a second‑shift Emergency Radiologist in a fully remote, hybrid academic/community practice. You will work from home using a department‑provided workstation and collaborate with a team of over 30 ER radiologists.

Responsibilities

Work a 9‑hour second‑shift rotation (5 p.m.–2 a.m. EST) on a 134‑shift/year model.

Interpret and report on a wide range of cases from academic medical centers and community hospitals.

Utilize customized worklists, ER‑centric dictation templates, and AI programs such as RadAI for efficient workflow.

Collaborate with other ER radiologists, including a dedicated ER neuroradiologist, to review challenging cases.

Teach and mentor trainees in the department’s residency and fellowship programs.

Contribute to research, teaching, and community engagement initiatives supporting health equity.

Qualifications

DO or MD, eligible for licensure in Indiana.

Radiology board eligibility.

Preferred experience in a Level 1 trauma center (not required).

Ability to interpret advanced neuro‑imaging is a plus.

Both clinical and academic track positions are available.
