**Location**: Main Campus**Hours**: Day ShiftThis promotes excellence and innovation in nursing care, contributes to the growth and development of nursing staff through developing / implementing education activities and facilitating the application of nursing theory into clinical practice. Acts as educator to improve and enhance functional capabilities of licensed and non-licensed personnel and volunteers by the provision of orientation, continuing education and in-service programs.
Works with the medical and nursing staff and other hospital departments in a collegial and collaborative relationship to ensure safe care to patients through compliance with unit policies, procedures and protocols.
Counsels and coaches nurses when problems arise in nursing clinical practice.**Job Description****Minimum Qualifications:**4. Two (2) years of nursing experience and expertise as required by department.**Preferred Qualifications:**3. Three (3) years of relevant nursing experience and expertise as required by department.4. Clinical teaching experience. 5.
