We are seeking an experienced Functional Data Domain Lead – Insurance to oversee the design, governance, and enablement of high-quality insurance data across the enterprise. This role will collaborate with business, actuarial, finance, and technology teams to ensure data related to policies, claims, underwriting, and reinsurance is accurate, consistent, and effectively leveraged for analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end insurance data management processes, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Partner with Insurance, Actuarial, and Finance teams to understand data needs, pain points, and use cases across the insurance value chain. Collaborate with IT, Data Engineering, and Architecture teams to design and implement scalable data solutions aligned with business strategies. Define and implement data standards, governance policies, and quality frameworks for insurance data domains. Contribute to the development of a technology and data roadmap supporting future insurance business capabilities. Partner with analytics and reporting teams to enable business insights and ensure consistent metric definitions across products and lines of business. Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices in insurance data management, including AI, predictive analytics, and cloud platforms. Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies. Interpret complex insurance data and drive data-driven decision-making. Act as a domain expert, advising on product features, riders, pricing reserves, financial reporting, and hedging strategies. Manage competing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic business environment. Required Qualifications

Minimum 12+ years of professional experience in insurance data management. Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization. Hands-on experience with querying and analyzing data using SQL or equivalent languages. Experience with data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives. Familiarity with core insurance systems such as MG-ALFA. Experience with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements (e.g., STAT, GAAP, IFRS). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
