TSP is engaged in a direct hire retained search on behalf of our client - a bioscience company transforming how the world treats pain.
Our client is hiring a Senior VP of Sales as a critical member of the senior leadership team, responsible for shaping and driving the company’s sales and product strategies for products in their core markets while leading a high‑performing national sales organization.
This individual will play a key role in aligning the sales function with the company’s mission, vision, and growth objectives.
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and experienced sales executive who has successfully led large, complex sales teams—preferably in specialty pharmaceutical, medical device, or biopharma environments.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the hospital/IDN and ambulatory care spaces and a proven ability to inspire confidence, build culture, and drive results. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strategic thinker with an ability to translate vision into operational plans and measurable outcomes. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and executive presence with a high degree of emotional intelligence. Highly collaborative and team-oriented, with a natural ability to influence across functions and levels. Strong business acumen, financial discipline, and comfort with data-driven decision-making. Results-driven, action-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced and evolving business environment. Willingness to travel as required. Valid driver’s license in the state of residence. Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred. Minimum of 15 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 10 years in sales leadership roles of increasing scope and responsibility. Demonstrated success in related commercial disciplines (Marketing, Market Access, Operations, and/or Training and Development) indicating a breadth of skill sets for a senior executive, preferred. Proven track record leading large national or regional sales organizations with specialty pharma, biotech, or medical device sectors. Experience selling into hospitals, IDNs, outpatient surgery centers, and/or surgical suites is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in launching and scaling new products, leading quota-setting, and territory alignment, and executing against commercial strategies. Prior experience with cross-functional commercial leadership, including interpreting sales data and managed markets dynamics to guide business decisions. Known for building inclusive, high-performance cultures and developing future leaders.
