We are seeking a
Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer
to join our team and play a critical role in supporting the sales cycle by providing technical expertise, solution design, and consultative engagement with prospective customers. The successful candidate will partner closely with Account Executives to understand customer requirements, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate the value of our technology platform in solving complex business challenges.
This role requires a blend of technical acumen, business insight, and strong communication skills. The Solutions Engineer will be responsible for building trust with prospective clients, articulating product capabilities, and ensuring alignment between customer needs and our technology offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Sales teams to identify client business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
Conduct discovery sessions to capture technical requirements, business goals, and integration needs.
Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to illustrate solution value.
Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to provide feedback on client needs and market trends.
Technical Solution Design
Architect solution proposals that align with customer objectives, IT environment, and industry best practices.
Design and document integration approaches, technical workflows, and system architectures.
Advise customers on optimal configurations, scalability, and performance considerations.
Ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with implementation capabilities.
Customer Advocacy
Serve as the
trusted technical advisor
during the pre‑sales process.
Influence stakeholders (technical and business) by articulating value, ROI, and differentiation.
Support RFP/RFI responses with accurate technical and functional content.
Build long‑term relationships with key technical decision‑makers.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting role.
Strong knowledge of enterprise software, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and integration patterns.
Proven ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Experience designing or supporting POCs, pilots, and solution architectures.
Preferred
Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure, Salesforce, or equivalent).
Background in industry vertical, e.g., SaaS, cybersecurity, data analytics, ERP, networking.
Familiarity with security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks relevant to enterprise customers.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in complex enterprise sales cycles.
