* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Three years of related experience.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to multitask and work cooperatively in a team environment.* Client-centric approach and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.* Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.* Experience designing and implementing ETL processes, data models, and pipelines using SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and automation frameworks.* Proficiency in SQL (stored procedures, triggers, performance tuning) and familiarity with DBMS-specific tools for monitoring, migration, and replication.* Hands-on experience with Alteryx and FME for data preparation, automation, and integration workflows.* Knowledge of geocoding techniques and geospatial analysis/visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).* Strong Python programming skills for ETL, automation, and data analysis; ability to deliver insights via dashboards and reports in Power BI.* Understanding of ITIL practices and experience applying them in data engineering and administration contexts.**Data Architecture, Modeling & Development-** Designs and implements complex data models and database architectures (logical and physical). Creates databases from the ground up, including understanding business requirements, planning system architecture, and building physical models. Builds and maintains ETL pipelines and reporting packages for SQL Server, Azure, and Snowflake. Works with IT infrastructure and database engineers to ensure optimal application and database integration. Reviews database design and code written by other engineers for best practices and performance optimization. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems by reviewing and analyzing software documentation and production output to identify causes, solutions, and make appropriate referrals. Assists with data architecture design. Reviews and analyzes technical documentation and production results to facilitate problem resolution. Creates and maintains documentation sufficient to ensure business continuity and supports cross training to maintain necessary operational redundancies.

Works with customers on data migration projects, building migration scripts and integrating with existing databases or data feeds. Meets with stakeholders to gather requirements for data integration, analytics, and reporting needs. Participates in cross-functional teams to support analytics, application development, and business intelligence initiatives. Provides technical guidance and customer support on data infrastructure topics.* Ability to maintain the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment system or water treatment system.* Required to be on call, work weekends, and times outside regular business hours as warranted by business necessity.* This role may require working outside of standard office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support the demands of technology services and ensure the seamless operation of essential systems.* This position is security sensitive.* This position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TAMU policies, regulations, rules and procedures.* All tasks and job responsibilities must be performed safely without injury to self or others in compliance with System and University safety requirements.* This position allows alternate work location per TAMU guidelines.Howdy and thank you for your interest in a career with Texas A&M University.
