Position Description Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of SAP Basis administrators, fostering technical growth and professional development

Manage installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of SAP systems, including S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, PI/PO, and Solution Manager

Oversee system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis across SAP environments

Implement and manage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services to enhance scalability and integration

Utilize SAP Cloud ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) for system monitoring, alerting, and lifecycle control

Integrate SAP Joule and SPIDE for intelligent operations, predictive insights, and automation

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal performance and uptime

Establish and maintain SAP Basis standards, policies, and documentation for system governance and compliance

Manage system refreshes, backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and high availability configurations

Coordinate with SAP and third-party vendors for issue resolution, performance optimization, and future enhancements

Strengthening collaboration across development, infrastructure, and business teams to achieve seamless SAP integration

Ensuring full compliance with internal standards, data security requirements, and audit readiness

Identifying opportunities for performance optimization, cost savings, and process improvement within the SAP ecosystem

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (BS in computer science accepted)

At least seven years of SAP Basis experience, including a minimum of two years in a leadership or team lead capacity

Proven experience managing SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments in both on-premise and cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, transport management systems, and system monitoring tools

Hands‑on experience with SAP automation and landscape management tools such as SAP Landscape Management (LaMa), SAP Automation Pilot, or SAP Cloud SDK

Familiarity with SAP security administration, user management, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) integration

Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to lead complex system initiatives

Preferred

SAP Certified Technology Associate (Basis or HANA)

Experience implementing or supporting SAP BTP, CALM, Joule, and SPIDE

Knowledge of ITIL practices, change management frameworks, or enterprise service management

Experience in medical device manufacturing, healthcare technology, or other regulated industries
