The EuroImmun Global Business Controller reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer of Revvity. This role is the Controllership Leader for all EuroImmun businesses' and subsidiaries and ensure they are operating with the highest compliance standards. Responsibilities include managing and enforcing accounting policies and governance, operational accounting reviews, coordinating monthly closing activities, SEC and Statutory financial reporting deliverables, and monitoring the design and operation of internal controls. The role is accountable for technical accounting under US GAAP and will support all statutory reporting requirements for the EuroImmun Group.
Profile of the position
Leverage your knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and SEC reporting requirements
Manage a large global accounting and finance team
Oversee the control environment, transactional processing, and reporting for multiple business sites.
Provide key partnership with EuroImmun Chief Finance Officer
EuroImmun has various revenue streams, including product and services. The business continues to expand with new product initiatives. This role will support and partner with commercial business teams to establish sound business models, proper revenue recognition and disclosure processes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical accounting and policy expertise
Support integration activities, inclusive of reorganization of accounting and controllership team
Support system conversions and strategic corporate initiatives to drive standardized processes and enhance internal controls that comply with Revvity Corporate requirements
Accountable for the monthly and quarterly close processes for all EuroImmun legal entities and ensuring all Revvity Corporate deliverables are executed timely and accurately
Oversee finance and business policy governance including the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) program across all relevant entities, including remediation of any audit deficiencies or control improvements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and internal auditors supporting the overall audit process to ensure successful and efficient completion of quarterly and annual audits. Drive performance improvements over multiple controllership and accounting teams, including career development and performance management.
Special projects as determined by Finance and Controllership Leadership team
Promote proactive and effective communication and coordination across the Finance function, to improve efficiency and achieve objectives.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
Minimum 10 years of accounting work experience
Certified Public Accountant or equivalent accreditation required
Preferred
Minimum 5 years in Public Accounting
Fluent in German
