Essential Duties
Embrace the Menu:
Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs.
Keep an Eye on the Numbers:
Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations; review monthly profit & loss statements and adjust as necessary.
Get the Party Started:
Collaborate with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events, overseeing food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup; assist with cooking when needed.
Plan Like a Pro:
Estimate food consumption, make appropriate purchases from our specified food program, and schedule staff efficiently to meet business volume.
Assemble an All-Star Team:
Work with management to recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff, developing key personnel including sous chefs and lead cooks.
Commit to Quality:
Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards; supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage.
Keep It Clean:
Manage kitchen equipment maintenance, sanitation audits, and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations; report critical issues to the General Manager.
Who You Are You are an experienced Executive Chef with excellent customer service, communication skills, and P&L management capabilities. You take accountability for your team and possess strong organizational skills. Our centers are fast-paced, high-volume environments where leadership and adaptability are key. You will lead a team of cooks, dishwashers, and servers, reporting to the General Manager. Experience with catering or special event food presentation is a plus but not required.
Desired Skills
5+ Years of Kitchen Management / Executive Chef Experience
Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
Extensive banquet experience
Team management and development skills
Current ServSafe certification required
ServSafe instructor certification or ability to obtain it preferred
Work Environment & Physical Demands Work in a typical entertainment center environment involving walking, bending, standing for extended periods, and lifting objects with assistance as needed.
