What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs within the location.

Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while performing assigned duties.

Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as outlined by Allied Universal guidelines.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

CPR certification is preferred.

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
