Thisopportunity is open only to individuals who currently hold an active U.S.Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.Engagement will be under a 1099 / Business-to-Business (B2B) contractualarrangement — not a W-2 employment position.
An analytical specialist with a degree in mathematics,operational research, or a related discipline, and a minimum of five years’ experience in wargame or operational experimentation analysis. The ideal candidate has proven ability to design and implement Data Collection and Analysis Plans (DCAP), conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection, and deliver high-quality reports to senior leaders. They are experienced in NATO or multinational joint/combined exercises, comfortable briefing outcomes, and able to integrate analysis across multiple domains. Preferred Background: Analysts with operational research, DCAP, and NATOexperimentation experience. Develop or support the creation of the DataCollection and Analysis Plan (DCAP), ensuring coordination with wargame design and scenario objectives Define key problem statements, research questions, essential elements of analysis, and collection schedules tied to gameplay Apply methods for qualitative and quantitative data capture and transformation into analytical reports Conduct and lead daily analyst coordination meetings during wargames to ensure accurate data collection aligned with DCAP Actively collect and validate data during wargames, maintaining objectivity and accuracy while observing player decision-making and group dynamics Evaluate and validate data quality, cross-checking insights across multiple sources Produce interim and final analytical reports integrating observations from gameplay, scenario execution, and adjudicated outcomes Participate in scenario, design, and event planning meetings to ensure analytical requirements are built into all stages of preparation and execution Contribute to after-action reviews (AARs) and lessons-learned processes Draft analytical sections of final wargame reports and supporting documentation incorporating findings and scenario insights Perform other analysis-related or wargamesupport tasks within the contract scope as directed by the COTR Requirements
Nationality of one of the NATO member countries 4-year university baccalaureate degree in mathematics, analysis, or a related field Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in wargame or operational experimentation analysis, preferably within multinational, military, or joint/combined environments Experience developing or executing DCAPs for complex analytical events Proven ability to produce analytical reports and brief findings to senior audiences Demonstrated experience working in multinational teams and coordinating with stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaborative platforms Experience supporting data collection and analysis for NATO wargames at the operational or strategic level Experience preparing final analytical reports, contributing to after-action reviews, or writing analytical annexes to wargame reports Asthis is a B2B / 1099 engagement, benefits such as health insurance, paid timeoff, and retirement plans are not provided. Contractors are responsible for managing their own taxes, insurance, and other business obligations in accordance with federal and state requirements.
