Responsibilities
Produce 30–60 minutes of local news daily; select stories, determine story order, write broadcast scripts, select video, create and/or order graphics and other showcasing elements to enhance viewer experience. Create and execute a vision for the newscast anchored in audience research. Collaborate with anchors, reporters, digital producers, editors, directors, management, and other team members to choreograph all elements of the newscast from the big picture to minute details. Post content to the website daily. Check in on the assigned beat area and share updates daily. Qualifications
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field (not required). Strong writing skills. Excellent time management and communication skills. Experience with non-linear video editing. Ability to critically think and troubleshoot issues independently. Application
