Job Description
The Network Architect's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Supporting the design and architecture of the firm's data, wireless, video, and VOIP networks Supporting cloud and IaaS based network connectivity Make recommendations for emerging technologies Actively review designs to ensure that all business requirements, technical requirements, and monitoring objectives are met Collaborate across the network team and other IT stakeholder groups to propose security, scalability, availability, supportability, and cost improvements Provide technical guidance across the organization, from strategic decision advice down to the project planning level MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
The successful Network Architect candidate will have the following experience:
7+ years networking experience Proven experience and success with planning, installing and managing networks Strong working knowledge of Cisco routers Strong hands-on knowledge of DNS record management Experience with Infoblox/BloxONE DNS and DHCP Experience and strong knowledge of VoIP systems Preferred certifications, not required: CCNA/CCNP, CCDA, CCSP Law firm experience is a huge plus but not required Great communication What's on Offer
