WHAT YOU GET TO DO

The Team Lead Software Commissioning is responsible for leading a team to successfully implement software commissioning projects, ensuring project quality, adherence to timelines, and cost efficiency. This role focuses on team development, process improvement, and effective project execution in collaboration with other departments. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities: Leadership

Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing software commissioning team, fostering professional and personal development. Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews. Motivate and engage team members to achieve organizational and project goals. Lead hiring interviews and participate in strategic initiatives (e.g., career fairs, internal tool improvements).

Project Execution

Support Lead commissioner, ensuring delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Assign tasks based on team member qualifications to optimize project outcomes. Review project schedule and ensure sufficient staffing in coordination with other departments. Identify and address project design or concept flaws and ensure efficient resource utilization while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Serve as the primary point of contact for other departments regarding project status and needs.

Process Improvement

Propose and implement work process improvements and strategic planning initiatives. Develop and implement timelines to achieve employee and project performance targets. Empower team members to improve technical knowledge, product expertise, and communication skills.

Reporting & Administration

Create and distribute regular progress reports to management. Approve team hours and expense reports. Ensure compliance with company policies, including safety and drug-free workplace requirements.

WHAT YOU HAVE Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 2 years of experience in

software implementation , commissioning, or testing—preferably in warehouse automation or logistics. Preferably 1-3 years’ experience in

project management , including scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication. Familiarity with software deployment tools and environments (e.g., Azure DevOps, GIT) is a plus, but

coding experience is not required . Working Conditions and Environment: Authorized to work in the U.S. Travel required up to 25% Ability to travel by air both domestically (US) and internationally (primarily to Austria and other parts of Europe as well as Canada Passport or ability to obtain a passport Professional office etiquette is required at all times Physical requirements may include sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, climbing a ladder, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm’s length, and/or lifting up to 50 pounds
