This role plays a critical part in protecting the organization against cyber threats by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing preventive controls, and monitoring for suspicious activity. The LCE will collaborate closely with IT and business teams to ensure security standards and best practices are consistently applied.---### **Key Responsibilities*** Design, implement, and manage comprehensive security architecture for infrastructure components, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, virtual server environments, and cloud resources.* Lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy development aligned with the **NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)** and risk management best practices.* Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses to identify and mitigate security risks.* Implement and manage **Identity Access Management (IAM)** and **Privileged Access Management (PAM)** solutions.* Respond to and mitigate escalations from Managed Detection and Response (MDR) providers related to suspicious activity or potential breaches.* Perform vulnerability scanning and manage anti-virus, **Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)**, and patch management systems.* Partner with application and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security and data protection policies.* Participate in infrastructure and cloud security projects as a technical resource.* Create and maintain security documentation, diagrams, and procedures.* Follow established change control and ticketing processes.---### **Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities*** Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with complex IT environments (applications, middleware, networks, cloud, and on-prem infrastructure).* Strong expertise in **Microsoft Azure** and securing cloud environments.* Proficiency with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., **DataDog**, **ThousandEyes**, **Netwrix**) and understanding of **Zero Trust** methodologies (e.g., **Zscaler**, **ZTNA**).* Solid experience with **Active Directory**, **Microsoft 365** (Teams, Intune, SharePoint), **Windows Server/Desktop OS**, **DNS**, and **SSL**.* Familiarity with **Microsoft Exchange**, **Exchange Online**, and mail security platforms (e.g., **Defender**, **Proofpoint**).* Working knowledge of **Cisco** security products (firewalls, ISE, Umbrella).* Ability to script in **PowerShell** and manage SSL certificate lifecycles.* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.* Experience with **IDS**, **SIEM** technologies (e.g., **Splunk**), firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.---### **Education and Experience*** **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).* **5+ years** of experience in large Microsoft Windows environments.* **5+ years** of experience as a Security Engineer, SOC Engineer, or similar role.* Preferred certifications in two or more of the following: + **CISSP** + **CompTIA Security+** + **Certified NIST Cybersecurity Framework Professional** + **Microsoft Azure / Network / Windows Associate or Intermediate certifications**---### **Additional Information*** Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite per week in a corporate office environment.* Occasional travel may be required.* Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, paid parental leave, and generous PTO. #J-18808-Ljbffr
