Position Overview Denneen & Company is seeking a full-time Consultant to join our team. The position will be based in our Boston office. The Consultant will play a critical role across client engagements, including developing scopes of work, leading unique project workstreams, conducting primary and secondary research, performing deep analysis, and developing and presenting content to clients. The Consultant will also play an important part in supporting internal firm priorities by developing and executing key strategic and operational initiatives, all of which will have a direct impact on achieving the firm’s annual growth goals. Role Responsibilities ·Project delivery – accountable for the deliverables within each of the projects and workstreams to which they are assigned within the allocated budget ·Client relationships – augment existing while developing and fostering new client relationships ·Third-party relationship management – manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and vendors to support research and other needs beyond the firm’s core capabilities ·New business – support new business development efforts including presenting capabilities, developing proposals, and contributing to the health of the pipeline Qualifications ·Experience leading projects or workstreams in a client-facing management consulting role, with a preference for a strategy consulting background ·Demonstrated strong financial and analytical skills, preferably related to private equity and/or M&A project work ·Proficiency in developing and directing primary and secondary research and analysis Desired Attributes and Skills ·Strategic thinking – ability to understand clients’ needs and the strategic implications of insights generated from the firm’s work ·Leadership – ability to lead teams, workstreams, engagements, and thinking ·Project Management – strong project and time management skills ·Communication – ability to develop a coherent story and clearly articulate and present content to clients ·Entrepreneurial – ability to operate effectively in a boutique environment with limited resources; bias towards action and a proactive approach ·Analytical – strong data and analytical skills; ability to work with and manage large data sets, and interpret data into meaningful insights and findings ·Financial – ability to interpret financial statements, and prepare financial and economic models and scenarios ·Insight generation – ability to synthesize numerous inputs and analyses to generate unique insights that give our clients a competitive advantage and lead to strategic choices Work Authorization Must be eligible to work in the United States Personality Profile ·Intellectually curious ·Self-directed and proactive ·Resourceful and adaptable ·Collaborative team player ·Natural leader ·High EQ, enthusiastic and passionate ·Interesting and engaging; thrives on personal interactions and cultivates relationships ·Competitive base salary ·Performance incentive bonus EEO/Diversity Disclaimer At Denneen & Company, we are committed to building and maintaining a diverse workforce and inclusive work environment where all colleagues feel authentically seen, respected, and supported.
