Coordinator, Social Media – Arizona Cardinals Football Club
Join us as the Social Media Coordinator to help define the Cardinals brand and engage fans across all ages. This full‑time, exempt role operates in‑person in Tempe, AZ and reports to the Sr. Manager, Social Media.
Job Summary The Social Media Coordinator will work with the marketing team to create, schedule and publish content across the Cardinals primary and ancillary social media accounts, ensuring consistency with brand voice and business objectives. You will ideate unique social projects, track emerging trends, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to produce compelling visual and video content.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in implementing the overall social media strategy, monitoring content and user engagement for optimization.
Collaborate with the Manager and Sr. Manager to oversee content creation for Cardinals ancillary accounts (Community, Flag Football, Foundation).
Produce and create content for main and ancillary channels.
Work closely with the team to create football, community and flag football centric copy and content.
Coordinate with digital and social teams to create visual content.
Assist in influencer marketing campaign ideation and execution.
Create original content to drive revenue opportunities for business development.
Ideate unique projects with a social focus.
Track and analyze emerging social media trends and platforms.
On gameday, coordinate with NFL LCC program, capture video from field level and assist in other social duties.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, business or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
Minimum one year of professional experience in digital/social content and marketing strategy and publication.
Strong copywriting skills.
Expert knowledge of X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
Intermediate understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Ability to capture and edit social‑first video content from phone for football, lifestyle, influencer content.
Reliability, communication, strong collaboration and organizational skills.
Team orientation.
Strong background working in a deadline‑oriented environment.
Basic knowledge of football and passion to learn the game.
Experience working for a major sports brand preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays; hours may vary.
Must complete all pre‑employment forms and pass a background check.
