Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $41 - $41 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic:

• Inspect equipment: Conduct thorough visual inspections of heavy machinery to identify signs of wear, damage, or potential issues with engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• Diagnose problems: Use computerized diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to pinpoint the cause of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures

• Read technical information: Consult service manuals, blueprints, and technical specifications to understand equipment requirements and repair procedures

• Perform repairs: Repair or replace defective components such as bearings, pistons, gears, and entire assemblies like transmissions and axles

• Service systems: Maintain and repair complex systems including engines, hydraulic pumps, electrical components, and braking systems

• Preventative maintenance: Execute routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and inspections, to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life

• Overhaul components: Disassemble and reassemble major components like engines and hydraulic systems to rebuild them to proper specifications

Available shifts:

Shift timings - Weekends

Job requirements:

• Must be able to pass a physical

• Must be able to pass a federal background check

• Must be able to pass a drug screen

• Must be able to pass a credit check

• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
