Position Overview The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Behavior and Development, is pleased to announce an opportunity for a full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual with primary interest in clinical practice and education within an outpatient setting. Our division specializes in treating children facing a broad spectrum of medical, developmental, and behavioral concerns.

We are inviting applications for a position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics is committed to providing neuropsychological services for our patients, including those referred by other subspecialties and community providers across Maryland. In line with our mission, we place a strong emphasis on ongoing education and training for our team and the wider community. As a neuropsychologist within our division, you will conduct evaluations and engage in training, offering clinical experiences to local doctoral students, medical residents, and professional colleagues.

The expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher; however, final rank, tenure status, and salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications as evaluated by the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.

Base Salary Range:

Assistant/Associate Professor $143,300 - $206,826

Qualifications

A doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) from an APA-accredited program

Completion of an APA-accredited internship program

Candidates must have completed two years of postdoctoral training in neuropsychology, adhering to Houston Conference Guidelines

Experience working on multidisciplinary teams and providing consultation to other professionals

Eligibility for licensure in the state of Maryland

Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and families
