We are looking for a seasoned operations executive to lead supply chain activities. This position will be responsible for strategic direction, operational execution, and team development within warehousing, distribution, transportation, and packaging functions. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in third-party logistics (3PL) and has a proven ability to manage complex operations while delivering strong financial and service results. Experience working in food-grade environments is highly preferred. Location and schedule
Location: On-site only, Commerce, GA Schedule: Monday through Friday Travel Requirement: Approximately 25% Compensation: Competitive annual salary of $120,000–$150,000, plus performance-based bonus Key Responsibilities
Lead operational execution across distribution, packaging, and transportation networks to achieve customer and company goals. Ensure performance metrics are met or exceeded across all operational KPIs. Oversee compliance with all applicable food safety, regulatory, and quality standards (if applicable to customer requirements). Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies. Maintain and manage budgets, with full accountability for P&L across sites. Develop operational strategies to support growth, improve service levels, and control costs. Create and manage staffing plans that align labor with workload, controlling overtime and retention efforts. Manage relationships across multiple customers and facilities. Track and report on performance data; develop corrective actions based on root cause analysis. Support a culture of safety, accountability, and employee engagement. Ensure full regulatory compliance in all warehousing and transportation activities. Qualifications
10+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume 3PL, warehouse, distribution, or transportation environment Minimum 3 years of 3PL-specific experience Experience managing multiple sites simultaneously Strong P&L management experience with accountability for financial performance Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WMS, databases, and operational performance tools Experience using ADP platforms, including WorkForce Now, WorkForce Manager, and Recruiting Management, is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse teams Strong presentation and writing skills Demonstrated ability to solve problems and think critically in high-pressure situations Strong organizational and time management abilities Flexibility to work varied hours as needed by the operation Experience in food-grade warehousing or supply chain environments is strongly preferred Preferred Qualifications
