About The Team

We are a passionate and entrepreneurial Product Management team embracing bold ideas, fueling innovation and enabling delightful experiences for our associates, partners and customers. We design, deliver and operate agile, secure, resilient and scalable foundational infrastructure for Capital One to thrive in and with the cloud. At the heart of the foundational infrastructure, serving the hyper-connected digital business, is the Network.

As a Product Leader for Network Observability, you will be instrumental in enabling IT teams to perform proactive monitoring, leverage telemetry data to detect anomalies, identify potential issues before they impact users, gain real-time visibility into network performance, and derive actionable insights for faster incident response towards delivering seamless connectivity, minimizing downtime, and optimizing user experiences.

Basic Qualifications

At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management

Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of people leadership experience

5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure

3+ years of experience with routing, switching and network security solutions

2+ years of experience with network monitoring tools and observability platforms

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chicago, IL: $205,400 - $234,400

McLean, VA: $226,000 - $257,900

New York, NY: $246,500 - $281,300

Plano, TX: $205,400 - $234,400

Richmond, VA: $205,400 - $234,400

San Francisco, CA: $246,500 - $281,300

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
