Job Summary:
Vanderbilt Health – Executive Search Team is conducting a national search for an Executive Director, Clinic & Infusion Pharmacy Services, reporting to the Chief Pharmacy Officer. The Executive Director is a member of the pharmacy executive team with oversight of clinical, business, and operational areas, the ambulatory enterprise for pharmacy support, and the consolidated infusion business line. This role covers 10 licensed pharmacy sites and maintains a significant scope of responsibility in regulatory, quality, and safety aspects of medication use.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides leadership and maintains relationships across all levels of the organization to optimize all aspects of the medication use process.
Participates in the development of strategic goals and objectives in alignment with institutional goals and strategies.
Establishes and maintains programs to comply with legal and regulatory standards.
Establishes and evaluates standards of performance to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operations.
Continually focused on effective and efficient clinical/business operations (clinical services, staff development, compliance, audit/risk management, revenue cycle, procurement/inventory control, data analytics, financial planning/reporting).
Able to design, implement, and continually evaluate new programs to drive departmental growth and improve patient/customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Tennessee Pharmacist License
Pharm.D
MBA, preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of Pharmacy experience, oversight, compliance, and regulatory management with increasing scope of responsibility in an academic healthcare setting.

Problem Solving/ Complexity of work: Directs resolution of strategic issues affecting the broader organization.
Breadth of Knowledge: Applies in-depth business knowledge across multiple business areas.

Supports colleagues by developing self and others, building and maintaining relationships, and communicating effectively. Ensures high quality by performing excellent work, ensuring continuous improvement, and fulfilling safety and regulatory requirements. Manages resources effectively through accountability, stewardship, and data-driven decisions. Fosters innovation by generating new ideas, applying technology, and adapting to change.
