The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer mentors junior engineers, performs the planning, system design, implementation and support of data center HVAC systems, leads small to medium scale HVAC projects and the rollout of mechanical HVAC engineering initiatives. Assists with the development and implementation of mechanical HVAC engineering design standards, policies and procedures. Responsibilities

Lead and manage HVAC projects or other design and engineering initiatives. Provide guidance and project leadership ensuring projects meet or exceed company expectations. Expert operating knowledge of critical facilities HVAC engineering systems, advanced diagnostics and repairs. Interact and collaborate with engineering, design and construction disciplines. Work with capacity and site engineering teams to resolve power and cooling limitations and optimize resource utilization. Contribute to mentoring junior team members and directing internal and external project team members. Communicate effectively with cross‑functional SOP development, technical writing and executive level communications. Develop and maintain best‑in‑class policies and procedures, review documents and ensure adherence to standards. Problem solve complex cross‑functional issues, recommend system level enhancements and test suitability of components or action plans. Qualifications

7+ years of related experience in a critical facility or data center environment. Knowledge of data center HVAC mechanical engineering design. Experience developing and managing projects with internal and external stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. Pay Range

United States – Dallas Infomart Office: $118,000 – $176,000 USD per year. Canada – Toronto Office: $112,000 – $162,000 CAD per year. Benefits
