Required to travel to other project sites as needed. Responsibilities

We are looking to expand our Finance Management team to support M.C. Dean’s Critical Infrastructure Solutions business unit. The successful candidate will interact with project teams and customers on a regular basis. Enter orders in our CMS system; create work orders in our Infralink system. Submit, post billings for various contract types; assist in managing accounts receivable and under-billings for large multi-year projects and programs. Provide cost analysis on projects. Project Cost Control

Engage with project management team to develop accurate budgets and manpower forecasts for multi-year programs. Monitor and control indirect costs by performing weekly budget-to-actual analyses; identify root causes for variances and communicate with project managers. Establish accurate cash flow forecasts to ensure projects remain cash-positive for the duration; adjust forecast as needed. Ensure accurate and timely complex billing submissions monthly. Track contract reconciliations and change orders to accurately reflect correct values. Generate ad-hoc reporting for project managers and executives. Conduct highly efficient monthly Key Project Reviews (KPR). Assist project team with monthly financial forms; provide cost analysis and explain variances. Help project management team prepare monthly financial forms for management review. Justify all variances (fades/gains). Project Procurement Planning

Lead procurement planning effort; develop detailed procurement plans for projects after award; ensure compliance and logistics. Assist in procuring the job according to plan before 20% completion. Perform monthly analysis of actual purchases vs plan; justify prior to adjusting the plan. Enter orders in CMS system promptly; create work orders in Infralink system for service operations teams. Produce monthly billing for assigned projects ensuring compliance with invoicing terms and conditions. Resolve billing concerns to ensure timely payment of invoices. Post invoices in customers’ invoice systems and M.C. Dean’s accounting system as applicable. Prepare and provide data for required monthly reports; participate in weekly regional meetings. Monitor contract compliance and customer reporting for billing. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. 10+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Collaborative and effective team interaction. Self-starter; problem solver; independent work capability. Effective communication skills. Benefits Package
