Account Director - Power and Renewables
Location: Austin, Houston, or Denver
We are searching for a highly driven Account Director to join our Sales team. Performance Objectives
Account Director part of a POD focused on growth, partnered with a Customer Success Manager focused on retention; account base 50–60 accounts.
Execute annual sales goals and meet targets for account growth on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
Team with Technical Advisors to present value proposition and capture new upgrade and upsell opportunities.
Team with Customer Education Managers to identify opportunities for increased ROI within your account base.
Provide quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual forecasts within an acceptable accuracy rate.
Deliver client feedback to marketing and development teams to improve products and services.
Competitive Candidate Profile
At least 5 recent years of experience managing energy vertical accounts with Power & Renewables experience a plus.
Experience working with complex contract renewals is required.
Ability to upsell various clients and resolve customer issues.
Team player who can work autonomously when required.
Driven by results, high goal orientation, and urgency; strong motivation required.
Proven experience managing a customer life cycle/sales process.
Experience in the Power & Renewables space preferred.
Must know the outside sales process as well as internal account management/retention with expertise in an enterprise sales process (CLC markers, discovery, value proposition, buying process, decision‑makers, risk mitigation, retention, closing).
Demonstrated experience forecasting new business on a monthly, quarterly, and semi‑annual basis.
