Overview
A well-established general contractor is seeking a Chief Estimator to lead the estimating team for commercial projects across the region. This is a full-time leadership role with strong growth opportunities. Hybrid role! - 3 days a week in Atlanta, GA office Key Responsibilities
Manage the full estimating and bid process from start to finish Review bid opportunities, proposals, and subcontractor coverage Develop and deliver complete proposals and budgets to clients Provide conceptual estimates, budgets, and CPM schedules Ensure all project documents, RFIs, and bid forms are accurate and timely Attend pre-bid site visits and respond to client questions Oversee multiple estimates at once, prioritizing effectively under deadlines What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred (not required) Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam and PlanGrid a plus Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and work well under pressure Excellent communication and leadership skills Benefits Include
