Location
Hybrid work schedule: In‑office 3 days per week at the Sargent & Lundy office in Peachtree Corners, GA.
Responsibilities
Prepare or review modification packages for operating nuclear power plants.
Create functional mechanical drawings and/or drawings for nuclear power plant systems.
Conduct engineering analyses and evaluations to support plant system modifications and operation.
Develop technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment.
Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment.
Perform studies and option evaluations for plant modifications.
Additional Opportunities
Develop engineering cost estimates for small to mid‑sized client‑requested scopes.
Visit client office and/or plant sites to interface with clients and present engineering tasks and status.
Lead engineering project teams.
Qualifications
BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
5+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations applicable to mechanical engineering design of power plants.
PE license preferred.

Compensation Range $82,380.00 – $125,860.00
