Associate Principal, Sourcing & Procurement

Job Summary Associate Principal, Sourcing & Procurement is a senior procurement role focused on technology sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management. The role drives strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizes total cost of ownership, and ensures high quality and service levels for OCC’s technology and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate procurement opportunities aligned with OCC’s strategic and financial objectives.
Lead negotiation and purchase of goods and services, with a focus on the technology category.
Drive sourcing transactions to achieve significant cost reductions while maintaining/improving product quality and enhancing supplier service levels.
Lead the development and management of RFP, RFQ and RFI processes.
Manage projects against approved plans to ensure commitments are met.
Provide high‑value procurement and contract negotiation consultation to the business.
Collaborate effectively across functions and business lines to realize procurement goals and objectives.
Negotiate contractual agreements in compliance with OCC policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
5–7 years of progressive procurement experience in technology space including contracting, sourcing and negotiation.
Successful track record in a large procurement organization.
Strong relationship building at all levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving, conflict management and conceptual thinking abilities.
Process driven with strong analytical acumen.
Strong negotiation expertise and understanding of key contracting concepts and legal terms.
Ability to translate business requirements into agreements.
Knowledge of financial analysis and management.
Knowledge of IT asset management.
Technical Skills & Background
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
ERP system experience.
Certifications (Preferred)
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD).
Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification or Member of the CIPS (MCIPS).
Education & Training
Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, information technology or related field.
Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).
Formal training in negotiation (preferred).

Salary Range $89,600.00 – $128,700.00
