– Catholic Charities Jacksonville Reports to: Executive Director, Catholic Foundation | Grade: 208 | FLSA: Salary Exempt | Full Time General Summary

The Director of Annual Giving is a strategic leader of the diocese’s major giving campaigns, including the Bishop’s Annual Stewardship Appeal, Catholic Student Assistance Fund, National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche, Diocesan Cemeteries Appeal, and future appeals. The Director partners with parish staff to foster stewardship, provides training, and drives donor engagement. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Strategic planning and campaign management for all diocesan annual giving appeals. Full lifecycle of campaign logistics, gift processing, vendor coordination, and communications. Board and committee collaboration, including attendance and data‑driven insight. Messaging and design partnership with the Office of Communications for brand consistency. Personal donor interaction, database management, and cultivation. Compliance with fiscal and gift processing controls. Analysis of donor behavior, CRM tracking, and mid‑major donor cultivation. Overseas pledge enforcement and recurring gift acknowledgment. Multi‑channel outreach and stewardship for diocese prospects. Vendor selection and procurement for development needs. Financial reporting, goal setting, and strategic planning support. Technology, legal, and investment collaboration for development initiatives. Educational support and training for parishes on faith‑based stewardship. Development strategy support and communication of success stories. Relationship building with clergy, schools, and parish volunteers. Professional development and departmental budget stewardship. Exceed campaign goals and analytics‑driven donor metrics. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Non‑Profit Administration, or related field. Certified Fund‑Raising Executive (CFRE) preferred. Practicing Roman Catholic in good standing and registered parish member of a Catholic faith community. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM relational donor databases, Adobe, and donor research tools. Minimum five years of successful experience directing annual appeals with multi‑channel cultivation. Strong administrative, planning, and organizational leadership skills. Energy, drive, flexibility, self‑confidence, assertiveness, and persuasion. Ability to articulate mission and inspire commitment. Respect for cultural richness and celebration of commonalities. Confidentiality, good judgment, independent and team work. Multiple project management with competing deadlines, detail orientation, accuracy. Executive‑level communication skills. Background check clearance required. Language Skills

Read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Present information and respond to questions from various groups. Mathematical Skills
