as a Finance Manager based in Boston. You will be a key member of the home office leadership team, overseeing financial operations and supporting strategic growth across retail and e‑commerce channels. Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay
$90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year Bonus potential tied to company and individual performance; generous employee discount and vacation leave; full medical, dental and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; commuter benefits; and flexible spending accounts. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily financial operations: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll. Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership and ownership. Maintain accuracy and compliance in all financial records, adhering to GAAP and company standards. Develop and monitor financial KPIs to track business performance. Lead the annual budget process in collaboration with leadership, manage rolling forecasts, cash flow analysis, and variance reporting. Provide financial modeling and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives. Partner with Store Operations, E‑commerce, HR, and Supply Chain to align financial processes with business goals. Support decision‑making with data‑driven insights on sales, margin, and expense trends. Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency across the business. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and maintain internal controls. Partner with external auditors and tax advisors for filings and audits. Qualifications
5–7 years of accounting and finance experience in retail or consumer goods. Proficient with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting; strong GAAP knowledge. Advanced proficiency in accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar) and Excel/Google Sheets. Analytical, detail‑oriented, highly organized with excellent communication skills. Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment while collaborating cross‑functionally.
