We are seeking a highly skilled and client-oriented
Network Engineer
with strong expertise in
Meraki firewalls, switching, and wireless technologies . This role involves end-to-end involvement in the planning, design, and deployment of network solutions at customer sites, including
wireless site surveys ,
access point (AP) deployments , and
troubleshooting .
The ideal candidate will be confident in client interactions, experienced with
Ekahau
for active surveys, and comfortable leading onsite activities while coordinating closely with internal teams for documentation and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a
client-facing technical lead
for the planning and design of Meraki network solutions.
Conduct
wireless site surveys
to validate and finalize
mounting and deployment plans .
Lead onsite AP deployments , including positioning, mounting, and configuration.
Use
Ekahau
for
active wireless surveys , post-deployment validation, and optimization.
Troubleshoot and resolve
wireless network issues
to ensure strong signal coverage and performance.
Support the
staging, unboxing, and physical setup
of networking devices (firewalls, switches, APs).
Coordinate
device labeling, documentation , and handover with internal teams and clients.
Ensure best practices are followed during installations, with a focus on quality and consistency.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to meet timelines and client expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles, particularly with
Cisco Meraki .
Strong knowledge of
Meraki firewalls, switches, and wireless access points .
Proven experience with
Ekahau
for wireless planning and post-deployment surveys.
Strong understanding of
wireless technologies (802.11 standards), RF principles , and site survey methodologies.
Experience in
client-facing roles
with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to interpret floor plans and building layouts for AP placement and cabling.
Familiarity with
cabling standards
and basic physical infrastructure for wireless and network deployments.
Detail-oriented with good documentation and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multi-site deployments.
Familiarity with other wireless tools (e.g., NetAlly, Wireshark).
Experience working in corporate, retail, or distributed office environments.
