Principal AI Engineer
Location: Fully remote, anywhere across Tennessee, US.
About The Role As a Principal AI Engineer, you will design and develop advanced AI solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs) and agent frameworks. You will lead discussions with clients and recommend AI‑driven solutions for complex business challenges.
Architect and implement LLM tuning and training pipelines using modern cloud infrastructure.
Integrate AI capabilities with platforms such as Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry, and AWS Bedrock.
Lead and collaborate with sharp, passionate teammates, provide feedback on others’ work, and encourage innovation and best practices internally and externally.
Prioritize, self‑direct and execute at velocity.
Aggressively grow your skillset and expertise to meet emerging AI and ML needs.

What We’re Looking For
Strong communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders/clients, including active listening, critical thinking, presentation skills, coaching, empathy, dependability, and creativity.
Experience talking to people in various industries and corporate levels including C‑Levels, Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Unit Leaders, and Product Managers.
Extensive experience in AI/ML technologies and cloud‑based AI development.
Expertise in agent frameworks and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
LLM tuning and training using frameworks such as Hugging Face Transformers, DeepSpeed, or LoRA.
Integration experience with Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry, AWS Bedrock, and other AI platforms.
Experience with cloud services including Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, and Google Vertex AI.
Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ML Ops practices including CI/CD pipelines for AI models.
