Principal EHS & Maintenance Recruitment Consultant at DSJ Global
The SR Maintenance & Engineering Manager leads site-level maintenance and engineering operations, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability of equipment and systems. This role is responsible for driving strategic improvements, managing capital projects, and fostering a high-performing team culture aligned with operational goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of technicians and engineers.
Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
Maintenance Operations
Direct preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment uptime.
Oversee work planning, resource allocation, and troubleshooting efforts.
Monitor and improve maintenance KPIs and operational efficiency.
Project & Asset Management
Manage engineering initiatives including equipment upgrades, installations, and process enhancements.
Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines; ensure execution aligns with business objectives.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support production and technical goals.
Reliability & Continuous Improvement
Implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies and root cause analysis.
Leverage data and CMMS tools to optimize asset performance and reduce costs.
Drive initiatives that enhance system reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Maintain documentation and compliance with internal and external standards.
Manage departmental budgets including labor, materials, and capital expenditures.
Provide regular reporting on maintenance performance, cost control, and project status.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
7+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of maintenance systems, reliability engineering, and CMMS platforms.
Proven track record in managing capital projects and leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance in industrial environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in food, beverage, or consumer goods manufacturing.
Certification in Maintenance & Reliability (e.g., CMRP).
Lean Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement training.
